Close the ribbon cover , turn the dial to rewind the carbon ribbon a few times .
Use the default value for [Finisher Feed]. If you change [Finisher Feed], operation of the Label Waste Prevention function is not guaranteed.
Disable [Auto Measure]. If you enable [Auto Measure], operation of the Label Waste Prevention function is not guaranteed.
When using media with a gap of more than 3 mm (0.12"), and having enabled [Check Media Size], you cannot use the Label Waste Prevention function.
When using RFID tags, writing to the inlay may fail if the adjusted value sent by the <PO> command or configured in [Offset], [Pitch], or [Label Top Sensor] in [Printing] > [Advanced] > [Adjustments] menu is too large.
When the Label Waste Prevention function is enabled, you do not need to tap [FEED] in Offline mode before printing. Tapping [FEED] feeds media to align with the print start position even when the Label Waste Prevention function is enabled.
The operation when [FEED] is tapped is as follows.
