Adjusting the Print Speed
The adjustment of the print speed not only changes the speed of printing but also affects the print quality.
The setting range varies depending on the print resolution of the product.
The setting range of the print speed is as follows:
Resolution
Setting range
203 dpi (8 dots/mm)
2 to 8 ips (inches/sec) (50.8 to 203.2 mm/sec)
305 dpi (12 dots/mm)
2 to 6 ips (inches/sec) (50.8 to 152.4 mm/sec)

If the optional linerless cutter unit is installed, the setting range is 2 to 4 ips (50.8 to 101.6 mm/sec).
1.
Tap [SETTINGS] on the Home screen or Offline screen.
2.
Input the password if it is enabled.
3.
Tap [Printing].
4.
Tap [Speed].
5.
Change the setting value.
6.
Tap to save the setting value.
7.
Press the (Power/Home) button to show the Home screen.
8.
Press the (Power/Home) button to go to Online mode.
You can print to check the print quality.

When the [Printing] > [Advanced] > [Prioritize] menu has been set to [Commands], the data will be printed with the print speed specified by command.
•
While the print job is paused, the [Adjustments] menu will appear instead of the [SETTINGS] menu and you can adjust the print speed.
