Check the cause and countermeasure, and then take appropriate action. To clear the error: Lock the print head. Cause and Countermeasure Cause ◦ The print head is unlocked. ◦ The sensor for detecting the open/close status of the print head is defective. Countermeasure Unlock the print head once, and then lock it again. 1. Push the head lock lever (1) towards the rear. 2. Press the print head down until the head lock lever is locked.
