[Enable]

Enable or disable the Label Waste Prevention function.

Can be set if [Feed After Error] and [Feed At Power On] are disabled.

• To enable this, on the [SETTINGS] menu, use [Tools] > [Media Startup] or [Media Profiles Registration] to batch set the settings related to the Label Waste Prevention function. • The changes to this setting are linked and are changed with the settings in the [Tools] > [Media Startup] menu. • When using journal paper, you cannot use the Label Waste Prevention function. • When using media whose labels are not at the leading edge, such as media with I-marks not positioned at the leading edge of the label, the Label Waste Prevention function cannot be used. (However, wristbands or koDakara media can be used, or when the [I-Mark Offset] is set). (1) Media feed direction (2) Leading edge of the media (3) Position detected by the label top sensor (label top position) • When using media where the distance between the I-mark and the label exceeds the setting range of [I-Mark Offset]. • Disable [Auto Measure]. If you enable [Auto Measure], operation of the Label Waste Prevention function is not guaranteed. • When using media with back side pre-printing, which is positioned within less than 2 mm (0.08") from the leading edge of the media, and in the center of the horizontal direction of the label (passing position of label top sensor), the Label Waste Prevention function cannot be used.
