Cannot Communicate via USB
What to check
Countermeasure
Is the USB cable connected correctly?
Connect the USB cable correctly.
USB Interface Connection (Standard)
Are the product's interface settings configured correctly?
Set the interface settings of the product again.
In Offline mode, open the Settings mode, and set the [Interface] > [USB] menu.
USB
Is the USB port of the computer to which the product is connected enabled?
Try the following.
•
If there are multiple USB ports on the computer, connect to another port.
•
Disconnect other USB devices from the computer.
In the printer driver settings, is the printer name correct?
In the printer driver settings, change the current printer name to the correct printer name.
Refer to the Printer Driver Manual for details.
Go to your local SATO website
Power on the product and computer again if the error cannot be resolved.
Powering On/Off the Product
 
Uninstall the printer driver, and install it again as the administrator if the error still cannot be resolved.
Installing the Printer Driver
 
Contact your SATO technical support if the error still cannot be resolved.
