Install Package

This feature allows you to install an AEP package on the printer and apply a clone configuration using one of the following file extensions:

•	.pkg (most printers)

•	.tar.gz.gpg.asc (CL4-SXR/CL6-SXR series only)

The authorized SATO technical personnel can also install the printer firmware or firmware patch to the printer. Please contact your SATO reseller or technical support center if you need to install any firmware to the printer.

1.	On the printer page, click [Others] > [Tools] of the selected printer.

The [Tools] menu is shown.

2.	Click the [Install Package] tab.

The [Install Package] menu is shown.

3.	Click the file insert box (a) to select the package file for the installation.

4.	Click [Install].

A confirmation dialog is shown.

5.	After confirming, click [Yes] to proceed.

The installation started and the warning dialog is shown.

6.	Read the warning message carefully and wait for the installation to be completed.

The printer will reboot automatically when the installation is completed.
