TOP > Various Menus of the Application > The [Settings] Menu > [Tools] Menu [Tools] Menu The following items are available in the [Tools] menu: [General] Settings The general setting items are as follows:[Clone Notice Setting] Enable or disable the clone notification.[HEX-Dump] Save the hex dump print data or dump data from the receive buffer to the USB memory.The setting item is as follows:[Hex Dump Mode]Enable or disable the Hex Dump mode.If you enable [Hex Dump Mode], the printer prints the received data and at the same time creates a file of the received data inside "hexdump/".If you return the setting to disabled, you can check the file on the screen.[Barcode Checker] Set the barcode check function using a barcode checker.By connecting a barcode checker to the printer, you can check the barcodes after printing.The setting items are as follows:[Test] Set up the barcode checker.The item is as follows:[Interface]Set the RS-232C interface usage. Available only if you have connected the barcode checker.[Settings] Set the barcode check function.The items are as follows:[Mode]Select the check mode or disable the barcode check function.[Set No. of Barcodes]Select the method to specify the number of barcodes per label.Available only if you have selected [Readable] in the [Mode] menu.[Barcodes per Label]Specify the number of barcodes per label when you include barcodes which are not created by barcode commands as the target of the barcode readability check.Shows only if you have selected [Readable] in the [Mode] menu.Available for setting only if you have selected [Setting] in the [Set No. of Barcodes] menu.[Start Position]Adjust the position at which the barcode check starts (position of the barcode checker at which reading starts).[VOID Print]Set whether to print error marks on the media when a barcode reading error or barcode comparison error occurs.[Host Notification]Set whether to return the barcode check results to the host from which the print data is sent. • Available only if you have connected the barcode checker.• This function cannot be used in the following conditions:◦ When the print mode is tear-off mode◦ When you are using RFID models◦ When the printer is in AEP mode• Use the optional barcode checker stand kit to mount the barcode checker to the printer. For details, refer to the Barcode Checker Stand Kit Installation Manual that came with the barcode checker stand kit.[Logging Function] Save the log data.The setting item is as follows:[Additional Log] (For PW208NX printer only)Set the additional logs to be stored.The setting item is as follows:◦ [Wi-Fi Log Enable]Enable or disable the Wi-Fi related log function.[Enabled]Enable or disable the logging function.[AutoClone Setting] The auto-clone function automatically saves the printer’s settings and installed data, to the USB memory, whenever the settings are changed. Insert this USB memory into the intended printer to recover the saved settings and data.Available only for CT4-LX/CT4-LX-HC (International Model)/HC4-LX series printers.Use the USB connector (Type A) inside the printer to execute this function (to save the settings and data). Use the USB connector (Type A) on the back of the printer to recover the saved settings and data. • We recommend a USB memory with a capacity of 4 GB or more.• The .pkg file that is created using this function cannot be copied to another USB memory and used.The setting item is as follows:[Enable]Enable or disable the auto-clone function.This can only be set when a USB memory, which has been formatted by using the [Format USB drive] menu is installed to the USB connector (Type A) inside the printer.
