[Update Timing]

Connect to the SATO App Storage server and automatically download the latest firmware package that is available, then install it to the product.

The setting items are as follows:

Auto Update

When this is enabled, the product automatically updates the firmware when it is powered on.

• To use this function, you need to enable the [Interface] > [Network] > [Settings] > [Wi-Fi] setting. • The package file is not downloaded if the available space on the product's internal storage is less than twice the file size of the latest firmware package. In this case, the warning icon is displayed on the status bar.

Company ID

The Company ID to log in to SATO App Storage is displayed.

Login ID

The Login ID to log in to SATO App Storage is displayed.

Password

The password to log in to SATO App Storage is displayed.

Install Prompt

Set whether to display the confirmation screen before installing the latest firmware to the product.

Update Timing

Set the timing for checking for firmware updates.

• Set the time on the product correctly. Alternatively, if a network connection is available, enable the NTP function to automatically synchronize the time with an NTP server. If the time on the product is not set correctly, the server certificate expiration date may be incorrectly recognized, potentially causing HTTPS communication to fail.
