Doing so could cause an electric shock.• The battery eliminator (dummy battery and DC-DC adapter) is not waterproof and must not be exposed to water or get wet. Doing so could result in electric shock or damage. • Power off the product before inserting or removing the battery or the dummy battery.• Do not touch the terminals on the battery or the dummy battery. Doing so could result in corrosion of the battery.• The provided DC-DC adapter is specifically designed for use with this product. You cannot use it for other electrical equipment. 1. Make sure that the product is powered off, and then remove the battery. 2. Insert the dummy battery. Align the dummy battery with the battery terminals on the product , and insert it until it clicks .3. Connect the DC-DC adapter to the dummy battery and a DC power supply. a. Connect the input terminal of the dummy battery (1) and the socket terminal of the DC-DC adapter (2) . • Align the position of the arrows on the two terminals, and insert them firmly until they click.b. Connect the connector of the DC-DC adapter (3) and the connector of the provided cord (4) . c. Connect the black wire (GND) to the negative (-) terminal on your DC power supply, and then connect the red wire (+V) to the positive (+) terminal . • When disconnecting the wires from the DC power supply, disconnect the positive (+) terminal wire first.
