Loading Media without Using Dispenser

The below topic describes the procedure to just load the media without using the dispenser.

• The routing path of the media is shown in the below picture.

1.	Open the top cover (1).

• Open the top cover fully to prevent accidental drop of the cover.

2.	Turn the head lock lever (2) clockwise to unlock the print head.

3.	Pull the feed lock latch (3) to unlock the feed roller and media sensor assembly.

The feed roller and media sensor assembly (4) will flip open.

4.	Pull the media guide (4) away from the product.

5.	Pass the media between the media shaft (6), below the feed roller and media sensor assembly (4), and the print head assembly (7) and extend it out the discharge outlet (8).

Make sure that the end of the media extends out the discharge outlet.

6.	Push the media until the innermost edge of the media lightly touches the product's center frame , and then push the media guide (5) lightly against the outermost edge of the media .

7.	Turn the head lock lever (2) counterclockwise to lock the print head , and then press the feed roller and media sensor assembly (4) down until the feed lock latch (3) is locked .

8.	Close the top cover.

• When closing the top cover, be careful not to pinch your fingers.

9.	Press the button (FEED) in Offline mode to feed the media.

10.	Press the button (ONLINE) or button to change to Online mode.

• You need to load the ribbon when printing using thermal transfer.
