Generating Debugging Log File
If you are having trouble connecting your printer to the Loftware Cloud and cannot determine the cause, generating a debugging log file could be helpful.
Create a folder named "DEBUG" in the root directory of the USB memory.

- Be sure to perform a virus check on the USB memory before connecting it to the printer. SATO Corporation shall not be held responsible for any product malfunctions caused by a virus spread via USB memory.
- The printer does not support USB memory with security functions such as fingerprint authentication.
- The printer does not support connection through the USB HUB.
- Use USB memories that are formatted to FAT32.
Insert the USB memory into the printer's USB connector (Type A).
Please refer to the individual printer's operator manual for more details on connecting the USB memory.
The link to the printer's operator manual is on the Supported Printers page.
Ensure the printer is running the [Loftware Connector for SATO] application.
A log file named "LogWSP1226_YYMMDD_hh-mm.txt" will be created, recording substantial data while the application runs.
-
The log file named "LogWSP1226_YYMMDD_hh-mm.txt" includes a timestamp in its name for easy identification.
- YYMMDD represents the current year (YY), month (MM), and day (DD).
- hh-mm represents the time in hours (hh) and minutes (mm).
- For example, a file named "LogWSP1226_240711_14-30.txt" would have been created on July 11, 2024, at 2:30 PM.
Remove the USB memory from the printer and check that the USB memory contains the log file.
Provide this log file to your SATO technical support team for further investigation.
