[FTP]

Set the functions for FTP.

The setting items are as follows:

[FTP]

Enable or disable the functions for FTP.

The options are as follows:

Enabled

Enable the FTP function.

Disabled

Disable the FTP function.

[FTPS]

Enables or disables the FTP function, which encrypts transferred data for added security.

Available if an FTPS certificate is installed.

The options are as follows:

Enabled

Enable the FTPS function.

Disabled

Disable the FTPS function.

[FTPS Settings]

Set the functions for FTPS.

Available if an FTPS certificate is installed and [FTPS] menu is set to [Enabled].

The setting items are as follows:

[SSL/TLS Protocol]

Set the protocol to be used for encryption.

To enhance data security, it is recommended not to use SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 which are older standards.

The setting items are as follows:

SSL 3.0

Enable or disable the SSL 3.0.

TLS 1.0

Enable or disable the TLS 1.0.

TLS 1.1

Enable or disable the TLS 1.1.

TLS 1.2

TLS 1.2 is always enabled. This setting cannot be changed.

[Cipher Suites]

Set the cipher suites.

The options are as follows:

Recommended

This setting has a strong encryption strength for encryption communication.

Weak ciphers

This setting has a weak encryption strength for encryption communication.

[Timeout]

Set the connection timeout period between the product's FTP server and clients.

Specify the maximum number of seconds that the product's FTP server will allow clients to stay connected without receiving any data on either the control or data connection.

The setting range is from 10 to 3600 seconds.
