Printer Statistics Logger

The Statistics Logger feature allows users to quickly access key printer statistics by simply tapping their Android device or iPhone on the printer's NFC tag. This works whether the printer is powered on, in standby mode, or powered off.

This feature optimizes service operations, enhances diagnostic accuracy, and supports effective maintenance and planning by allowing quick access to operational insights without the need to power on the printer or navigate through its menu manually.

Once retrieved, the statistics log appears on your mobile device screen. You can export and save the data for future reference or clear the log list to keep things organized.

• This feature is not available for WT4-AXB series (International Model) printers. • Exiting the [Statistics Logger] function will clear all currently retrieved statistics logs unless you have exported and saved the log file.

Retrieving Statistics Log When the Printer Is Powered Off

Prerequisites:

•	Make sure that the NFC of the Android device is turned on. The NFC function of the iPhone is always activate.

1.	On the [Home] page, tap the [Statistics Logger] icon.

The [Statistics Logger] screen appears.

2.	Tap [Scan printer] at the bottom of the screen.

3.	Hold the Android device or iPhone close to the printer's NFC antenna. The NFC antenna location is marked with a symbol.

• Do not move your Android device or iPhone away from the printer until the printer icon and model name appear on the [Statistics Logger] screen. Moving the device too early may interrupt the connection and result in incomplete data transfer.

4.	Tap the printer icon or model name to view its statistics data.

A list of printer statistics will be displayed on the screen.

• Some data may not be captured when the printer is powered off. These fields will show [Data not available].

5.	Repeat steps 2 to 4 to retrieve statistics from another printer.

Each retrieved statistics log will be added to the [Statistics Logger] list.

To delete the specified log data

Tap the icon next to the printer log you want to remove, then tap [Delete].

Retrieving Statistics Log When the Printer Is Powered On/Standby Mode

Prerequisites:

•	Make sure that the NFC of the Android device is turned on. The NFC function of the iPhone is always activate.

•	Make sure that the printer is powered on or in standby mode.

•	If the printer supports the printer login feature, you must log in to the printer from the application before you continue.

When you use the NFC interface, tap [Verify Status] on the [Easy Printer Login] page to check whether printer login is required. You can also log in to the printer using the NFC interface from this page.

1.	On the [Home] page, tap the [Statistics Logger] icon.

The [Statistics Logger] screen appears.

2.	Tap [Scan printer] at the bottom of the screen.

3.	Hold the Android device or iPhone close to the printer's NFC antenna. The NFC antenna location is marked with a symbol.

• Do not move your Android device or iPhone away from the printer until the printer icon and model name appear on the [Statistics Logger] screen. Moving the device too early may interrupt the connection and result in incomplete data transfer.

On the first scan, only standard data is retrieved. Network-related fields such as [LAN], [WLAN], or [Serial Number] may not be captured and will appear greyed out in the printer log list.

4.	Tap the icon on the right to open a drop-down menu. Select one of the following options.

◦	[Retrieve printer serial number]

◦	[Retrieve LAN information]

◦	[Retrieve WLAN information]

5.	Hold the Android device or iPhone close to the printer's NFC antenna again to complete the extended scan.

Once retrieved, the selected field, serial number, [LAN] or [WLAN], will appear in solid text, indicating successful data capture.

6.	Tap the printer icon or model name to view its statistics data.

A list of printer statistics will be displayed on the screen.

• If the printer model does not support a specific data field, it will display [Data not available]. If the field is not captured, it will display [Data not obtained].

7.	Repeat steps 2 to 6 to retrieve statistics from another printer.

Each retrieved statistics log will be added to the [Statistics Logger] list.

To delete the specified log data

Tap the icon next to the printer log you want to remove, then tap [Delete].

Exporting Statistics Logs

Once you have retrieved the printer statistics, you can export and save the logs to your Android device or your iPhone for future reference.

All printer statistics logs listed on the screen can be exported and saved locally in a CSV format, making it easy to archive or share the data externally.

1.	Tap icon at the upper right corner of the screen to open a drop-down menu.

2.	From the menu, select [Export logs].

The file manager will appear, showing the contents of the default folder.

3.	On the folder screen, select the desired location to save the statistics logs file.

You can also change the default filename by using the field provided on the screen.

• The screenshot of the file manager shown earlier is for illustrative purposes. You may see a different screen image depending on your device's operating system.

4.	Tap [SAVE] to complete the export process.

Clearing the Statistics Log List

To keep your log list organized, you can clear all retrieved statistics data from the screen.

1.	Tap icon at the upper right corner of the screen to open a drop-down menu.

2.	From the menu, select [Clear logs].

A confirmation dialog will appear.

3.	Tap [Clear] if you are sure to delete all logs from the list.

• Exiting the [Statistics Logger] function will clear all currently retrieved statistics logs unless you have exported and saved the log file.
