Printer Login

Unlock the Printer LCD

After all target SATO printers have been successfully detected or registered into the application, they will appear on the printer page.

You can view and manage all the registered printers remotely on this page. You can monitor the printer status, error condition or sort the printers based on different categories. You can also view each printer’s information and configure the printer settings.

The printer page can be shown by list view or grid view.

(1) [Add Printer] button

You can manually add a printer to the list.

Refer to Adding a Printer Manually via Supported Interface Setting for more details on the operation.

　

(2) [Discover Printers] button

You can add printers to the list via the Auto-Discovery function.

Refer to Adding a Printer via Auto-Discovery Setting for more details on the operation.

　

(3) [Bulk Actions] button

You can upload a package file to multiple selected printers. The [Bulk Actions] button is unavailable until a printer is selected.

(4) [List view] button

You can view the registered printers in list view.

(5) [Grid view] button

You can view the registered printers in grid view.

(6) [Personal Printer List]/[Shared Printer List] tag

Indicates the active printer list (Personal or Shared). The tag updates automatically when you switch between printer lists.

Refer to Enabling Shared Printer List for more details on the setting.

　

(7) Printer login status

Show the Printer Login status.

When not logged in to the printer, click [Login] to access the printer login option or the Unlock Printer LCD option.

Use the printer login option to log in to the printer from the application. For more information, refer to Printer Login .

Use the Unlock Printer LCD option to unlock access to the printer LCD menu when the password setting is enabled on the printer. For more information, refer to Unlock the Printer LCD.

　

When logged in to the printer, click the displayed status to access the logout option.

Use the printer login option to log in to the printer from the application. For more information, refer to Log Out of the Printer.
