Unlock the Printer LCD When the Printer Is Added to the Printer List

You can use [Unlock Printer LCD] to unlock access to the [Settings] menu on the printer LCD.

This function is different from logging in to the printer from the application. Printer login lets the application perform functions that require authentication. [Unlock Printer LCD] lets you operate the printer LCD when password setting is enabled on the printer LCD menu.

• [Unlock Printer LCD] can be used only with printers that support the printer login feature. For details about printer models that support the printer login feature, refer to Supported Models. • This feature is not available for CL4-SXR and CL6-SXR series printers.

　

Use one of the following methods:

•	Unlock the printer LCD from the Printer Connection and Access panel when the printer is added to the printer list.

•	Unlock the printer LCD from [Default Password Retrieval] using the NFC interface.

This function is available only when you are logged in to the application with a SATO ID AUTH account.
