Configuring Printer via NFC Interface
If your Android device or iPhone supports the NFC interface, you can transfer the configuration file using the NFC.
1.
On the [Configure Printer] screen, tap [NFC].
2.
On Android devices, make sure NFC is turned on. (On iPhone, NFC is always on.)
3.
Power off the printer that you want to configure.
4.
On the iPhone, tap the [Apply] button at the bottom of the screen.
This step is not required for Android device users.
5.
Hold the Android device or iPhone close to the printer's NFC antenna. The NFC antenna location is marked with a symbol.
Keep the device in place until the NFC communication is complete.
The result of the data transmission is shown in the [Result] text box.
